Consistency

Consistency is a fundamental property that ensures the correctness and validity of data stored in a database system. Consistent data is correct even in the presence of failures or concurrent and distant access. For example, if the data is replicated on two different servers, consistency will ensure that the data is the same on both servers. It is one of the four properties of ACID requirements to aggregate data validity.
