About the Speakers:

• Jayprasad Hegde: Jayprasad Hegde, Head of Data Science and AI Initiatives at NPCI, spearheads groundbreaking initiatives leveraging AI/ML to transform India’s digital payments landscape. He has played a pivotal role in establishing an advanced AI platform tailored to address the unique challenges posed by India’s vast scale and complexity. His expertise spans fraud modeling, computer vision, voice recognition, Graph AI, natural language processing, large-scale architectural frameworks for AI/ML, data engineering, and edge-scale engineering for AI. With over two decades of experience in engineering and AI leadership, Jayprasad is an alumnus of the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and the University of Mumbai, where he studied Computer Engineering.
• Adrian Kosowski: Adrian, the Chief Product Officer at Pathway, obtained his PhD in Computer Science at the age of 20 and has over 15 years of industrial research experience. He has co-authored more than 100 research publications and taken advanced algorithms courses at École Polytechnique. Adrian is also known for co-founding Spoj.com, the first community-driven online training platform for competitive programmers, significantly impacting the lives of millions of programmers worldwide. His deep expertise in product development and research continues to drive innovation at Pathway, making him a leading figure in the domain of stream data processing and AI.
• Megh Vidani: Megh Vidani is a highly skilled data engineering specialist currently working at the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) in Mumbai. With a robust background in Big Data technologies, Megh has demonstrated expertise in building scalable streaming pipelines and advanced data engineering solutions. He previously served as Associate Vice President at Pentation Analytics, where he led significant data engineering projects. Megh recently delivered a guest lecture at IIT Bombay on Fraud Modeling and Data Engineering, highlighting his commitment to advancing the field and sharing his knowledge with the next generation of changemakers.
